Alchemy 1 & Alchemy 2
This work explores the theme of transparency and personal reflection, with a focus on alchemizing one’s circumstances. It examines how our inner selves are shaped and revealed through external experiences, particularly those that challenge or transform us.
By combining materials that have been used, discarded, or no longer serve their original purpose, the piece symbolizes the process of transformation and renewal. These repurposed materials are reimagined and reshaped into something new—creating a rebirth into a shiny, valuable object. This process mirrors the human experience of overcoming adversity and finding new value in the discarded or forgotten.
The work invites viewers to reflect on their own journeys of growth, reinvention, and self-discovery, offering a visual representation of how we can alchemize our experiences into something meaningful and beautiful.
Quarter Life Crisis ran from April 2 - April 12, 2025 at The Echo Contemporary, Atlanta, Georgia.
